Day 01 : Dharamshala Tours
On arrival at Pathankot, our representative meets you and assists you to transfer Dharamshala, 90 kms/2 hours. On arrival check in at pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and enjoy the dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Dharamshala.
Day 02 : Dharamshala Sightseeing Tour
Morning after breakfast, today we go for a sightseeing of Mcleodganj, His Highness Dalai Lama resides here. Also known as Little Lhasa at the start of the Mcleodganj is a small bazaar stuffed with variety of Tibetan Handicrafts and artifacts and at the last lies the Namgyal Monastery. The external wall is surrounded by rows of prayer wheels and large idols of Buddha. St. John Church is also situated here, which is the final resting place of Lord Elgin, a British Viceroy of India during the 19 the Century. After the glorious tour of Mcleodganj, return back on time to the hotel, for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 : Dharamshala – Dalhousie
Morning after breakfast, we drive on wheel to Dalhousie 130 Km /4 hrs. Dalhousie is blessed with outstanding natural beauty, wooded hills, waterfalls, springs, rivulets and scenic sightseeing spots. Dalhousie still has the touch and flavour of the British Raj and tour to Dalhousie brings back the vistas of the earlier era. On arrival check in at hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Dalhousie.
Day 04 : Dalhousie Sightseeing
After the relaxed breakfast, we go for a local sightseeing tour in Dalhousie. Enjoy the day and evening at leisure by just exploring the vast and the pristine surroundings of the Dalhousie, taking a small nature walk. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Dalhousie.
Day 05 : Dalhousie – Khajjiar
After the morning breakfast, we proceed to Khajjiar. Also called India's Switzerland, Khajjiar is beautifully adorned with natural view and attractions, thick forests of deodar trees and in between is the small lake fed by the streams that passes through the scenic green natural beauty. Khajjiar was probably a glacial bowl formed during the last Himalayan Ice Age and was just left with a lake that withered away with the time. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Dalhousie.
Day 06 : Dalhousie – Delhi (Departure)
After breakfast at the hotel, our representative transfers you to Pathankot railway station (80 kms/2 hours) to board the overnight train for Delhi or for yours onwards journey. |
